1. Cluster Gender and Training Officer

a. Supporting and Planning for community mobilization, Participatory Assessment and reporting.

a. Working under Cluster Capacity Building Coordinator for training, orientation and other capacity building activities.
b. Supporting the Cluster Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator for collecting data, case study, survey and other knowledge management activity.
c. Support District Program Coordinator to conduct district and field level activity related to training.
d. Assist to ensure participation of community peoples and other stakeholders in planning and implementation of gender mainstreaming activities.
e. Assist to prepare awareness program implementation plans.

b. Training and Orientation
|
a. Providing gender mainstreaming orientation at different levels.
b. Preparing training work plan and budget including training calendar of ToT and field level training of stakeholders in the Cluster in which s/he will be operating.
c. Facilitate, conduct and manage the training and workshops at different level.
d. Assist in preparing training modules/curriculum/materials.
e. Supervise and monitor the activities of the field staff and facilitators.

c. Reporting and Documentation
|
a. Supporting project staff to prepare community level reporting and documentation.
b. Report the achievements and results per training activity after training conduction.
c. Keep update the process and progress documentation in line with monitoring requirements.

Reporting Person: S/she will be responsible for reporting to Cluster M&E Coordinator, Cluster Capacity Building Coordinator and the Program Coordinator.
Requirements and key competencies:
# Masters in any discipline but maybe relaxed for female candidate.
# Minimum 5 years of work experience in designing and conducting the training under democracy and local governance project with local government.
# Should have knowledge of planning, designing, documentation and conducting the training, workshop at different levels.
# Experience to assist in preparing training modules/curriculum/materials/handouts.
# Candidates must be familiar with Participatory Approach and excellent facilitation and communication skills.
# Ability to organize and manage training and workshop at local level.
# Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work.
# Ability to write reports
