KF Observed Rangpur City Corporation Election-2017On Thursday, 21 December, 2017, the voting for Rangpur City Corporation Election-2017 began. A team from Khan Foundation has been present there for the purpose of election monitoring. During the last two decades, Khan Foundation has been doing their part in establishing good governance in Bangladesh through election observation and the practice of voter and civic education program as a member of Election Working Group (EWG). The balloting in 193 polling stations started at 8:00am and continued till 4:00pm without any break. Of these polling stations, 128 are said to be vulnerable, or at risk of seeing violence. |
